Mrs. Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Vittitow Arnold, age 83, of Middletown returned to her Heavenly Father on August 19, 2025. Libby was born on July 10, 1942, in LaRue County, KY to the late Marsh G. and Elizabeth (Flowers) Vittitow. She worked as a secretary in the insurance business. She was a devoted Christian and played the piano at church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #447 Victory Chapter. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, husband, Darrell Arnold; and son, Jimmie Lee Parrish, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jay Parrish (Chiquita), Laura Beauford (Clarence), and Gary Vittitow (Robin); grandchildren, David, Jimmie III, Robert, Darion, and Darnell; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Raven, and Owen; and brother, David Vittitow (Judy).
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 12 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Ekron Baptist Church Missions.
