Geneva Mae Scott

Mrs. Geneva Mae Scott, age 94, of Louisville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on January 7, 2025. Mrs. Scott was born on October 16, 1930, in Ohio County, KY to the late Alva and Anna "Embry" Baize. Mrs. Geneva enjoyed flower arranging as one of her hobbies. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church. Mrs. Scott loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Reed Scott; and brothers, Robert Keown and Roby Keown. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dennis Scott, Carol Peace (Bill), and Roger Scott; grandchildren, Dax Ryan Scott (Angela), Andrea Lyndsey Scott (James), Kaitlyn Marie Peace (Kevin), and Scott William Peace (Sarah); 8 great grandchildren; loving niece, Marilyn Cornwell; and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks funeral home (123 Winning Colors Dr. Mt. Washington, Kentucky) with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5pm until 8pm, and on Wednesday from 11am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Home of the Innocents in Louisville.
