Harold Thomas "Tom" Lucas

Mr. Harold Thomas "Tom" Lucas, age 74, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on July 17, 2016. Mr. Lucas retired from Old Fitzgerald/United Distillers and was a U.S. Navy veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Raymond and Vennie Howard Lucas; and 8 siblings. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 34 years, Yvonne "Sandy" Hughes Lucas; son, Jay Hutchason (Janet); daughter, Carolyn Hutchason Hefty; poppaw to grandchildren, Matthew Hutchason (Megan), Andrew Hutchason (Abbey), Cara, Krista and Cassidy Hefty; great-granddaughters, Kymber and Kynsley Hutchason; sister, Lois Carman (David); brothers, Russell (Elaine), Roger and Charles (Annette) Lucas; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7 pm on Friday, July 22, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road).
