James "Jimmy" Dennis Barker

Mr. James "Jimmy" Dennis Barker, age 40, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father on March 11, 2017. Mr. Barker was an insulator for Local #51 and a Catholic by faith. Among those that preceded him in death include his aunts, Grace Levsay and Janice Wolford; niece, Emily Paige Payne; and grandfather, Martin Barker. He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Dayton James Barker; parents, John and Pam Barker; sister, Dana Payne (Jack); nephews, Jackson and Cameron; mother of his son, Amanda Brown; girlfriend, Anna Rogers; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with cremation to follow.
