James "Mac" Wesley McBride

Mr. James “Mac” Wesley McBride, age 71, of Louisville, KY passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was born in Paris Island, South Carolina on June 5, 1954, to the late Donald and Jeanie McBride. James was a member of the Masonic Lodge #955 and Eastern Star. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. James was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Benita McBride.

Left to cherish his memory is his children, Tommy Beachem (Marquita), James McBride Jr. (Amy), Michael “Alex” McBride (Jenny), and Elizabeth McBride; 4 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Dorothy Lawson; along with many other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road). The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation has been chosen.  www.subfuneralhome.com
