James "Nick" Zimlich

Mr. James “Nick” Zimlich, age 68, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 2,2022. He was born on April 8,1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leo A. Zimlich and Francine Margaret (Miles) Zimlich. He was in the printing business for 30 years. He was a graduate of Trinity High School and member of the Fern Creek United Methodist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Leo Anthony Zimlich Jr., Joseph Michael Zimlich, and David Zimlich.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years and life partner, Susan M. Zimlich; son, Anthony Jason Zimlich (Brandi), Andrew Thomas Zimlich (Renee), Dale Robert Zimlich (Erica); daughter, Regina Marie Touche’ (Touche’); 10 Grandchildren; and siblings, John Zimlich (Sherri) and Sharon Meckle.

The celebration of his life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 3pm on Sunday, November 6,2022 with burial at Resthaven Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 8,2022 at 3pm. Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 12pm until 3pm at the funeral home.
