Mr. James Howard Norris, Sr., age 73, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Mr. Norris was born in Louisville, KY on December 2, 1947 to the late Gabriel and Marie Norris. He retired from Rohm & Haas and he served in the United States Army. He was passionate about volunteering for Honor Flight Bluegrass and he was an avid UK, Steelers and Red Sox fan.
Among those who preceded him in death are, his brother, Charles Patrick Norris and sister, Barbara Ross.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Anita L. Norris; daughter, Amy Williams (Chris); son, James Howard Norris, Jr.; grandchildren, Devon Williams, Jordan Williams and Dorian Norris and a host of other dear family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) Friends and family may pay their respects on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
