Janet Lynn “Jessie” Stark, age 69, of Louisville, Ky passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born in Louisville, on December 7, 1955, to the late Olen Jessie and Matery Jessie. She was retired from General Electric and a Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Stark; sisters, Mildred Jessie, Mary Vincent and Audrey Garrett; brothers, Wayne Shirley, Olan Ingram Jessie, Charles Howard Jessie and Danny Jessie. She is survived by her siblings, Jerry Jessie, Billy Jessie, Wendell Jessie (Doris). William Jessie (Lilly), Willie Jessie and Judy Anthony (Gerald) and other dear family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway) with burial in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Tuesday 10 a.m. until time of service.
