Janice Faye Brown, age 80, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on February 27, 2021. Mrs. Brown was born on February 22, 1941 to the late Charles and Eva (Gill) Adkins. Mrs. Brown worked as an employee in the retail store “Bacons” and was a member of Kenwood Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Aylette Glenn Brown; parents; and brother, Charlie Adkins. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Michael Brown, Timothy Brown, Susan Green (Tim), Cheryl Burkhead, Danny Brown (Joy), and David Brown (Kelly); 19 Grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; siblings, Bob Adkins (Dale), Aileen Wooldridge (Ronnie) and Rosie Delk (Rick); and a host of many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Friday, March 5, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 1pm until 8pm and Friday from 9am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
