Jesse Edward Johnson

Jesse Edward Johnson, age 76, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, November 6, 2020.  He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on February 6, 1944.  Jesse was retired from Clark Food Service. He is preceded in death by a step son, Walter Underwood III.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Darlene; children, Stephen Johnson; daughter, Cynthina Johnson; three step sons, Tim Underwood (Janet), Ricky Underwood (Cheryl) and Glenn Underwood; one step daughter, Lisa Underwood (Chris); grandsons, Nolan Johnson, Seth Johnson and Nikolas DuBois and several step grandchildren and several great step grandchildren; one brother in law, John Keeling (Karen); two sister in laws Gearldine Devers and Bobbie Cox Tracy (Les); and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respect on Tuesday from 12 pm until 2 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.).
