Jesse Howard Snellen, age 47 of Brooks, returned to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 25, 2023, with loving family by his side. He was born on September 9, 1975, to the late Howard and Sandra Young Snellen. Jesse was an electrician for 27 years at Payne Electric Company and enjoyed racing at Hoosier RC HobbyPlex. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Connie Snellen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Samantha (Cox) Snellen; children, Michaela Bullock and Kynlee Froman; sister, Jennifer Lindemier (Kurt); uncle, Bruce Snellen (Susan); aunt, Barbara Snellen-Dorf (Gene); nephews, Tyler Lindemier and Noah Lindemier; cousins, Paul Snellen, Mark Dorf and Jacob Dorf; best-friend, Doug Powell and a host of racing buddies, co-workers, family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 1 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 9 am until time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
