Jimmy Ray Biggs

Mr. Jimmy Ray Biggs, age 69, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 22, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1954 to the late John Robert and Martha Francis Biggs in Louisville, Kentucky. Jimmy worked as a machine operator at General Electric where he retired from after many years. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jimmy was a dedicated family man, where he enjoyed his wife and children and loved having the title of Pepaw. He loved giving gifts to those he cared most about. Jimmy loved working with his hands and working with wood. He loved all animals, but dogs were his favorite.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 42 years, Debbie Biggs; children, Travis Biggs (Kendall), Casey Hibbs (Larry, Jr.); grandchildren, Easton Biggs, Tanner Biggs, Maci Biggs, Larry “Trip” Hibbs III; sisters, Janene Pile, Janis Brown; brother, Bob Biggs; half-sister, Dorothy Lee Harman; sister-in-law, Sandy Spears; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
