Mr. John W. Geary Jr., age 90, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 7,2022 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born on April 24,1932 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late John W. Geary Sr. and Ruth Abby Montgomery. He was a retired postal worker and a Air Force veteran.
He is preceded in death by spouse, Joann Hunt Geary; and children, James Howard Geary and Jeffery Len Geary.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children, John W. Geary III (Kim) and Jackie Redmon (Allen); grandchildren, Jessica, Amye, John IV, Jason and Christy; and 9 great-grandchildren.
The celebration of his life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 11:30am on Wednesday, July 13,2022 with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 4pm-8pm and Wednesday 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
