Kathy June Williams

Kathy Williams, age 62, of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father November 7, 2017. Kathy was born on December 30, 1954 to Jasper and Lola Joseph in Harlan County, Kentucky. Kathy’s life was her church and her family. She lived her life with one goal and that was to see her Savior face to face. Kathy also loved the beauty of the Smoky Mountains.

Among those who have preceded her in death include mother, Lola Joseph.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 10 years, Jerry Williams; her daughter, Patricia Gail Claypool; 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Sabrina, and Eric; her father, Jasper Joseph; 4 sisters, Judy Ferrell, Betty Taylor, Vickie Blain, and Juanita Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
