Mr. Goss was retired from Edgecomb Metals formerly J & L Steel, a United States Army veteran who served in World War II and a retired volunteer fire fighter for Camp Taylor Fire Department.
Among those who preceded him in death include his 1st wife, Ruth Goss; parents, Charles and Catherine Goss; brother, Charles Goss and sister, Mary Margaret Berry.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dee Goss; daughters, Judy Parks (Robert), Nancy Seidt, Linda Jewell and Melody Lunsford (Michael); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Norman Goss; sister, Catherine Thomas; special nephew, Harold Berry and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Mt. Washington (Hwy 44 east one mile of Bardstown Rd.) with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
