Kimberly Ann Castleman

Kimberly Ann “Kim” Castleman, age 59, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 3, 2025, with loving family by her side. She was born on July 22, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Kenny Robertson and Ruth Ann (Thurman) Carrol. Kim was a caregiver; she helped anyone who needed her. She cared for most of her family during their illnesses and time of need. She loved her dogs and spent a lot of her time caring for the numerous ones she had. Her loving and nurturing heart will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Leslie; nephew, Michael Robertson and her stepfather, George Carrol.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 43 years, Les Castleman; children, Christopher Robertson (Ashley), Joseph Robertson, Karman Barnett (John) and Tony Castleman; grandchildren, Thomas Yocum, Anthony Yocum, Mariyah Robertson, Blake Grimes, Jason Roberts, Nautica Wright and Amber Wright; sister, Donna Robertson; aunt, Diana “DeeDee” Thurman; all of her fur-babies and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 12:30 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 10:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
