Larry Earl Thompson

   Larry Earl Thompson, age 75 of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 16, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1947 to the late Albert and Gladys Mackinelly Thompson. Larry retired from General Electric after 37 years of faithful service. He loved hunting and fishing and loved having company but most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Jessie Thompson; brother, Albert and sisters, Barbara, Darlene, Mary, Gertrude and Linda.

   He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Tonya Hardin (Melvin), Shana Hauber (Jerry) and Misty Thompson (Amit); grandchildren, Joshua (Rebecca), Destiny, Isaiah, Autumn (Bruce), Brianna and Zachary; great-grandchildren, Serinity, Finlee, Brantley, Vada and Lincoln; sisters, Bonnie Jones and Norma; nephew, Joe Bain; good friend, Kapil; fur babies Sierra and Abby and a host of family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 12 pm in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. in Shepherdsville) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9 am until the time of the service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
