Mr. Hubbard was born in Clay County, Kentucky and retired from Courier Carton as a press operator.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Matt and Laura Wagers Hubbard; sister, Emma Hubbard and brother, Lester Hubbard.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Randy Hubbard (Patty), Marty Hubbard (Sheleese) and Michelle Black; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Matt Hubbard Jr.; sister, Stella Sizemore and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd; use John Harper entrance) where friends and family may pay their respects from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Burial will take place 10:00 am on Thursday at Brookland Cemetery.
