Luther Wallace Stewart

Luther Wallace Stewart age 86 of Heritage Creek was born August 8, 1928 to the late Robert Calvin and Sudie Roby Anderson Stewart and returned to his Heavenly Father September 29, 2014. Mr. Stewart was a member of Maryville Baptist Church, a machine operator for General Electric and a veteran of the Korean war while serving in the U.S. Army.

Among those who preceded him in death include his sisters, Dorothy and Mary Ellen Stewart and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 48years, Elizabeth Louise Ferguson Stewart; daughter, Debbie Louise Dawes (Wayne); son, Robert Wallace Stewart (Melissa); sister, Vertie Givans; brothers, Hardin (Carolyn), Joe (Aline) and Elmer Stewart (Novella); 3 grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin and Alexis; a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held 10 A.M. Friday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Layman Memorial Cemetery in Grayson County, KY. Friends may pay their respects from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. Thursday at Schoppenhorst.
