Melissa Dennison, 51 of Mt. Washington, Kentucky passed away on July 10,2023 at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital with her family by her side. Missy was born on June 9, 1972, in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert Coffell and Mary Ellen (Stoll) Coffell.
Missy was a secretary for Jefferson County Public Schools at Frayser Elementary School. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family.
She is preceded in death by mother, Mary Ellen Coffell.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Zachary Dennison; daughter, Isabelle Dennison; father, Robert Coffell; sister, Bobbie Jo Matney (Clarence); niece, Mary Claire Matney; nephew, Robert Matney; aunt, Linda Whitenack (Jimmy); uncle, Kenny Coffell (Sharron), cousins, Ann-Marie Stoll, Michael Stoll, Angel Stoll, Margo Stoll and Addison Stoll; and many great-aunts, uncles, & cousins; and special grand-kitties, Cinna and Sweet Tart.
The celebration of her life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 6pm on Tuesday, July 18,2023. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday from 12pm until the service time at 6pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Calvary Cemetery placing her with her mother, Mary Ellen.
