Mr. Michael Wayne Brake, age 59, of Springfield returned to his Heavenly Father on January 10, 2016. Among those that preceded him in death include his son, Brandon Brake; stepfather, Robert Kyle who he loved as a father. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debbie Reading Brake; sons, Justin (Crystal) and Clinton Brake; step-daughter, Megan Poston (James); step-son, Austin Wells; grandchildren, Kaden and Kenzie Brake; step-grandchildren, Adalynn and Brantley Poston; mother, Joyce Hart; brothers, Gary and Rick Thompson and Bobby Kyle; sister, Nancy Ward; Uncle Bill Smith; and numerous aunts.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the chapel of the Preston Highway Schoppenhorst with interment in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
