Pauline Wright

Mrs. Pauline Wright, age 96, of Fairdale, KY returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Mrs. Wright was born in Taylor County, KY on March 25, 1925 to the late James Samuel Barnett and Eliza Jane Williams Barnett. She was a member of Mt. Holly United Methodist Church. She loved her church family and she enjoyed cooking, sewing, flowers and quilting.

Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Malcolm Wright; her infant twin sons, James and Edmond Wright; son, Larry Malcolm Wright; son, W. Keith Wright and 10 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Gary Dean Wright (Jackie), David Alan Wright (Judy) and Denise Jane Miller (Chet); grandchildren, Bill Wright (Tracy), Shannon Wright (Kim), Tracy Davis (John), Michael Wright (Melissa), Teresa Gower, Jeremy Wright (Bridget), Jeff Wright (Stephanie), Brian Wright (Amy), Adam Miller (Michaela) and Paul Miller (Lily); 18 great- grandchildren; 1 great- great grandson; daughters-in-law, Sandy Wright and Sherry Wright and a host of other dear family and friends.

Mrs. Wright’s family would like to express their appreciation to her caregivers, Rich and Marcia St. Cyr and to her kind Hosparus nurse, Kristi Hardin.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Mt. Holly United Methodist Church (804 Mt. Holly Rd., Fairdale) with burial to follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) and Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the church.
