Mr. Ralph Dean Pollock, age 52, of Valley Station returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Mr. Pollock was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 20, 1967 to the late Carol Ann (Corbin) Hodge. He was a trucking dispatcher at Kentucky Container Services Inc. Mr. Pollock loved music and working with his hands. He was very creative and always making new things out of old. He loved learning and teaching and enjoyed working with his son. Mr. Pollock has been described as a very funny man who enjoyed making people laugh. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life for over 30 years, Yevonda “Sissy” Tindle; his son, Joshua Dean Pollock; stepdaughter, Katrina Denny; grandchildren, Angel, Thomas, Adam and Emily; siblings, James Pollock, Keyon Pollock, Mary Ann Hazelwood, Tony Hazelwood, Larry Hazelwood and Sierra Thacker; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 1, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
