Robert "Bobby" Kent Gardner

Mr. Robert “Bobby” Kent Gardner, age 63, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. He was born in Louisville on Monday, August 10, 1959. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Compton Souders.

He was a hard-working and loving man that you could certainly count on. He enjoyed fishing, going to the lake, trips to the beach, family dinners, Kentucky Basketball, his grand dogs and time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 34 years, Julie Gardner; his children Megan Campbell (Brandon) and Meredith Gardner; his father, Robert M. Gardner; his sister, Cindy Gardner; his grand dogs, Callie, Sophie and Gunner; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Highway Shepherdsville). Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 2pm until 8pm and on Tuesday 9am until the time of service.
