Mr. Roger Dale Rose, age 69, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born on January 29, 1953, to the late William and Edna Rose. He was a member of Second Holy Baptist Church. Roger was a devoted husband who truly loved his wife. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, William Rose, Diane Winsatt, Geneva Blanton, Ralph Rose and Judy Maynard; along with his former wife, Mary Sue Rose.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 13 years, Susan Rose; her children, Michelle (Matthew), Robby (Niki), Andrew and Emily (Ryan); his grandchildren, Kylee, A.J., Jackson, Tilly and Lucas; his sister, Patricia Rodgers (Roy); his sister in laws, Jackie Rose and Rhonda Wall; his brother in laws, Joe Maynard and Robert Winsatt; along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Friday, June 17, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Friends may pay their respects on Thursday 3pm until 8 pm and on Friday 10am until time of service, with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
