Mr. Russell "Russ" James Fallon Sr., age 51, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Mr. Fallon was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in the Louisville 3rd Ward. He served in the United States Navy, where he was a Nuclear Engineer and he was a Mechanical Engineer at General Electric.
Among those who preceded him in death include, his mother, Jean Norene Fallon.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 29 years, Patricia Fallon; his sons, Russell J. Fallon Jr. (Lindsey), Eric Fallon and Kyle Fallon; grandchildren, Augustus and Harland Fallon; father, Donald Eugene Fallon (Oma); siblings, Susan Bosworth (Bob), Steve Fallon (Kik), Doug Fallon (Waldine), Della Dyck (Mike), Ryan Fallon (Suzanne), Troy Fallon (Kim), Tawnya Briskin (Dan), Alysa Field (Brent), Audra Boyack (Dave); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of many other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints (1000 S. Hurstbourne Pkwy., Louisville, KY) with burial at Floydsburg Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church. Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
