Tammy treasured her Goodwill hunts, Friday movie nights with her brother and keeping a good ’80s horror film playing all the time. She loved her game shows and her true-crime evenings—Investigation Discovery, Southern Fried Homicide, and Joe Bob Briggs’ MonsterVision were her favorites, the shows that made her laugh, think, and feel connected.
Holidays were pure joy for her, and Halloween was her absolute favorite. She loved the decorations, the traditions, and the chance to make everything just a little more magical. And whenever Mexican food was around, she was happiest, sharing good meals and good company.
Above all else, she loved her son. She went through so much to have him, and he was the greatest blessing of her life. Her love for him was unwavering, fierce, and full of tenderness. Just as she loved everyone, she is so deeply loved by her family and friends and will be missed beyond measure.
Her mother, Judy Gail Carroll; sister, Vickie Calhoun and her grandfather, Arvin Carroll preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Ronald “Ronnie” Whitt; her sweet son, Jaxson; father, Gary Carroll; siblings, Shaun Carroll (Caitlen Collett) and Stephanie Gail Calhoun Curry (Tiante Curry); grandmother, Bernice Carroll; tons of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 and on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of her service at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
