Thomas McConnell

Mr. Thomas McConnell, 87 of Mt. Washington, Kentucky passed away on January 14,2023 at Norton Audubon Hospital with his family by his side. Mr. McConnell was born on July 21,1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles Gray McConnell and Clara Mae (Otterpohl) McConnell.

Thomas was the former business owner of McConnell Appliance and an Army veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving spouse, Annette (Bosemer) McConnell; children, Mary Ann Reynolds (Ben), Teresa “Jane” Forrest (Tim), Tammy Bolin (Glenn) and Thomas McConnell Jr. (Dodie); Grandchildren, Bennett Reynolds (Brittany), Adriane Eggen (Dennis), Ashley Reynolds, Whitney Neal (Mike), Taylor Thomas (Alex), Noah Forrest, Joshua Bolin (Heather), Alex McPherson (Brandon), Atom McConnell, and Austin McConnell (Megan); Great-grandchildren, EJ, Isabel, Harper, Clayton, Camden, Emerson, Harrison, Molly, Clara, Jack, Charlie, Thomas, Elena, June, Ruby, Rex, Caroline, Thomas, and two-on-the-way; sister, Judy Kenney (Jim) and special cousin, Nan.

The celebration of his life will be at the Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home, 123 Winning Colors Dr., Mt. Washington, KY 40047 at 6pm on Thursday, January 19,2023 with private burial to be held at a later date at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery Central.  Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 2pm until the service time at 6pm1, and again after the service until 8pm.
