Mr. Thomas Franklin Stinson, Jr., age 60, of the Highlands returned to his Heavenly Father on October 29, 2012. Mr. Stinson was a former police officer with the Louisville Police Department. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents Thomas Franklin, Sr. and Ruth Laverne Stinson. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Scott Stinson (Teri); sister, Susan Lurding (Carroll); and nieces, Morgan and Taylor Stinson, Betsy Beckman, Sarah Smith and Tammy Maddrey.
The family has chosen cremation and a memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Owl Creek Country Club (12400 Old Sage Rd. in Anchorage, KY).
