Tony Ray Simmons

Mr. Tony Ray Simmons, age 64, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Mr. Simmons was born in Louisville, KY on January 16, 1960 and he was a member of Campbell Chapel.

His mother, Marsetta Simmons; sister, Nancy Fitzwater and brother, Gary Simmons preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving fiancé, Theresa Bramblett; father, James Simmons (Jean); sister, Gina Miller (Paul); brother, James “Ricky” Simmons (Della); his beloved canine companion, Tucker and a host of other dear family and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
