William "Billy" Lyons Ball, Jr.

    Mr. William “Billy” Lyons Ball, Jr. age 66, of Louisville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28th, 2022.   He was born in Jefferson County, KY on November 13, 1955, to the late William Lyons Ball, Sr., and Patricia Ann Mercer Ball.

    He was retired from United Parcel Service as a maintenance worker and enjoyed hunting in his spare time. 

    He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Kyle Ball (Monica) and Keith Ball (Jeanie); grandchildren, Kaiden Ball, Eliana Ball, Shaun Trent, and Kennan Caldwell; a brother, John B. Ball and a host of nieces, and other relatives and friends.

    Funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in the Brookland Cemetery.  Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 12 noon until 8 pm and on Thursday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
