William Thomas Boyd

Mr. William Thomas “Tom” Boyd, age 69 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born on Saturday, July 4, 1953 to the late William and Carol Boyd. He was a Navy Veteran and a former IT Administrator. Tom was known for his many years of dedication to the sober community, and his passion for UofL sports and working with computers. He is also preceded in death by his son, Damian Boyd.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Charity Cissell; his siblings, Melissa Boyd and Michael Boyd; his grandchildren, Brendan Sanders and Peyton Cissell; his uncle Mike Durbin; his niece Mae Boyd; along with a host of other family and friends.  

The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to take place at a later date. The family has asked that any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
