William David Lewis., age 70, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born on September 18, 1954 in Louisville to the late William Thomas Lewis and Mary L. “Spalding” Lewis. He was a employee of Papa Johns and a Army veteran.
Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Terry Lewis; daughter, Dawn R. Sanders; sister, Donna Strader; brother, Terry Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his son, David Allan Lewis; two sisters, Linda Lewis and Cindy Lewis; four grandchildren, Tanner Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Hayden Sanders and Connor Sanders; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held from 1 pm until time of service.
