William Allen Poulter

Mr. William Allen Poulter, age 56, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 25, 2022. He was born in Louisville on November 23, 1966. Mr. Poulter loved being a Sunday School teacher for many years along with being a self-employed carpenter working with cabinets. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and nephew, Michael Munday.

William loved Little Debbie fudge rounds, watching Judge Judy and Westerns. He was an avid Louisville Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Bengals as well. William loved his grandchildren and being the entertainment for practical jokes. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Kimberly Lee (Chris), Jessica Puckett (Aaron); sons, Randy Poulter (Heather), Tyler Poulter; grandchildren, Drake, Ariel, Alena, Landyn, Jasmine, Jaxon, Rayce, Colt, Waylon; parents, Thomas and Anna Poulter; brothers, Bobby Poulter, Johnny Poulter; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Saturday from 10:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital.

The family would like to thank the Hosparus Nurses, Jessica and Maria along with the social worker, Ashley for taking very good care of their father. They would also like to thank Cherokee Rehabilitation for the good care they provided in the last few days of Mr. Poulter’s life.
