

Doris Virginia Allen, age 91, peacefully passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1935, to Jesse Williams and Lue Bertha White in Kansas City, Missouri.
Doris was a beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend, whose life was a testament to faith, love, and service to others. She was known for her compassion, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and all who were blessed to know her. Doris lived her life rooted in her faith in God, always extending kindness, encouragement, and support to those around her.
Throughout her life, Doris achieved many accomplishments and touched countless lives through her steadfast faith, generosity of heart, and caring nature. Her presence brought comfort and strength, and her legacy of devotion and grace will continue to live on through the many hearts she impacted.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Johnnie Allen (Ann Dunn), Sharon Leslie (Tommie Leslie) and Gregory Allen (LaTasha Allen), and her sister Aretha Murphy, along with a host of family members and dear friends. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Allen, and beloved daughter, Diane Yemisi Allen
A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life and legacy of Doris Virginia Allen will be held on May 2, 2026, at Graystone Church, 1551 Oroza Rd, Loganville, GA 30052.
Viewing will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:00 a.m.
The Homegoing Celebration Service will commence at 11:15 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with funeral expenses, made in loving memory of Doris V. Allen.
