Douglas Watson Stone, 83, of Stone Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Decatur, GA. Douglas was born on October 28, 1933 in Mossboro, AL to Thomas and Dovie Stone. He proudly served in the United States Army. Mr. Stone was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Betty L. Stone. He is survived by his 3 children, Debbie (Denny) Ballew, Jerry Stone, and Jimmy (Melissa) Stone; his sisters Charlotte (Ken) Courtney, Carolyn (Jerry) Coule, and Joan Shackleford, brother Herbert (Delores) Stone and his grandchildren: Danielle and Deanna Ballew, and Nicole and Dylan Stone.
