Frances W. Wood, 84, of Norcross, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Frances was born on December 13, 1930 in Dublin, GA to Charles and Bertha Windham. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her "Famous" baked beans, fried chicken and Christmas punch. Frances loved crossword puzzles and collecting Santa Clauses. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kenneth Wood. Survivors include her children Roxanne Cain and husband Gary of Fairhope, AL, Steve Wood of Fairhope and Tracy Kohler-Mele of Monroe, GA, nephew/son Jimmy Mele, sisters Midge Bailey, Carol Stewart, Faye Welch and Gail Windham, brother Charles Windham, grandchildren Stephanie Friel, Kendra Sexton, Elise Dasher, Ashley Mathews, Sean Wood, Carlton Kohler and Cassidy Kohler and great grandchildren Audrey, Harvin, Emma, Ryan, Rachel, Dylan, Miranda, Aleah and Kayla. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Baker and Gary Stewart officiating. Burial will take place at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
