Elaine grew up in East Atlanta where she attended Gordon High School. As a teenager and young adult she worked at Sears Roebuck Company on Ponce De Leon. While working there she met her husband, Marvin through his family members that also were employed there. They settled in Lilburn, GA and raised three daughters. For the past 28 years Elaine courageously battled Multiple Sclerosis.
Elaine is proceeded in death by her sister Fay, brother Ray, as well as her mother and father.
She is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Marvin. Daughters Joyce Gomez, Cindy Attaway, and Jennifer Attaway. Son-in-law Andrew Gomez and grandsons Brandon and Jacob Gomez. She will be dearly missed by all.
