Mary Ann Trocina

Mary Ann Trocina, 89, of Lilburn Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2020 after a short bout with Pneumonia. She was born on February 28, 1931, in Linden, New Jersey to John and Nellie Stadnick. Mary Ann graduated from Linden High School and started her career as a Secretary and Office Manager. She married Carmen Charles Trocina on September 18, 1955 and remained married for 61 years until Carmen’s passing in 2016. After raising her four children, she started an accounting company and provided bookkeeping and tax services for small businesses for more than 30 years until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing tennis, travelling, and entertaining her friends and family. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband Carmen, parents, John and Nellie, and her two brothers, John and Robert. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Diane and Ralph Shields, Chuck and Linda Trocina, Laura Kavis, Robert Trocina, Rick Smith, and Leon Kavis along with her seven grandchildren, their spouses, and two great grandchildren; Stephanie and Kevin Shields, Nicole and Michael Bork, Alyssa Trocina, Matthew, Lydia, and Nora Kavis, Eric, Ansley and Jamie Kavis, and Nick Kavis along with her brother Tom Stadnick, sister-in-law Julie Stadnick, and six nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 801 Tom Smith Rd. SW, Lilburn GA 30047; the service will be livestreamed at https://sjnlilburn.com/online-masses. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 21, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, December 22, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039.
