Norma came into my life thru my son Mark's strong bond with her son Cliff in high school in the 80's....I am forever grateful for the friendship that began and endured. between us and her family, which includes Beth, Donna and Max Francis and his meeting and marrying Anthea....Norma was such an angel.........She was so real and reachable emotionally .....we had so many warm hours  together.  

I viewed the funeral service yesterday from afar and was particularly struck with seeing her beloved brother and sisters whom she always referred to so lovingly....and, of course, Camille, her adored granddaughter who has grown up so beautifully.  There is no doubt that she is resting in peace now amidst the embrace of her husband and Cliff.  I am so thankful for her being part of my life and my continuing connection with her daughters Beth and Donna and cousin Max.

I'm deeply saddened, Lisa and her family from Easton PA  will miss your stories, success, strength, and elegance that you shared with me. I'll cherish the memories of doing your hair, eyebrows, and especially taking care of your chin hair as you would say 'come Lisa take care of me to be beautiful like a Diva.' You were indeed a pillar in our family, and I'll always look up to you for inspiration. Your legacy will live on. Your achievements as a devoted mother and influential figure are truly inspiring. The family feels your absence, particularly the loss of your guidance. We humbly request that you continue to offer your guidance and protection from above. Aunt Norma, as you rest in heaven with your loved ones, including your husband, son, mother Edith (our grandma), and favorite aunts, know that your legacy lives on through the countless lives you've impacted. Your beautiful twin daughters and granddaughter miss you dearly, as do your sisters, brother, particularly Opal Forbes, our mother, and the entire family including nieces, nephews, and cousins. Beth and Donna - As I read through your mom's eulogy and looked at all of the pictures, it really brought me back to how wonderful your family is, and I'm so truly honored to have been a small part of that.  Norma was so kind and always so welcoming to us, and whenever I think of my friendship with Cliffe, I have such fond memories of her and the two of you, as well.  My thoughts and love are with you during this difficult time, and I know that your mom's life, spirit, and legacy will continue to live on through both of you.

Dear Donna & Beth sorry we can’t be with you in person but our hearts are always with you. As painful as it is losing your Mom you can take comfort in the knowledge that she’s being welcomed by God, Cliffe , Dad and all her loved ones who have gone before. May she rest in eternal peace

Angie and Roy Mitchell

I met Norma's son Cliffe in junior high school, and we quickly formed a very close friendship.  Cliffe and I shared so many great times together through high school -- we shared a deep friendship that I find is uncommon among males -- and of course I live with the searing memories of learning about his untimely death to this day.  And Norma was always so warm and welcoming to me; she was just such a kind soul.  Norma and her husband raised three wonderful and talented children, and they both deserve so much credit for the incredible legacy they left in Cliffe, Beth and Donna.  My thoughts are with the family today, and every day.
