We are most grateful for the outpouring of love we have received upon news of the passing of our beautiful, wonderful Omi. Omi's vibrance and light touched so many. Everywhere she went, she was cracking a joke and making a friend. One of Omi's gifts was her ability to connect with others, free of inhibition. She found the perfect job to utilize this gift. She took pride in her work and was a tremendous source of comfort to many grieving families through her role at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, especially in the wake of recent years. And now, we find ourselves surrounded by her colleagues who adored her and so many others extending the same kindness and care to us.

Omi loved her family fiercely. They were EVERYTHING to her. She lived for her wife, Jen, and above all, her beloved son, Richard. She was Richard's fun and adventurous Mámi and loved taking him on outings to his heart's desire. We are left with a void that cannot be filled, but we will always remember her larger-than-life spirit. She will not be forgotten.

Many have been asking what they can do to help our family and to honor Omi. A special needs trust has been established for her son, Richard. The purpose of this special needs trust is to preserve Richard's eligibility for governmental funds to supplement his needs throughout lifetime. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, folks are invited to make a contribution to the trust. Given the nature of the trust, it is important that these directions be followed exactly.
