Shantilata Yohan passed away on January 4, 2025 while residing at Park Springs in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Affectionately known as Shan, she was born on June 24, 1925. Her husband, Walter Yohan passed in 2000. She is survived by 2 sons, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Shan and Walter emigrated to the United States in 1962 from India as professors who came to conduct higher studies. After receiving her PHD, she became and retired as a Psychology professor. She was also heavily involved with the United Methodist Women in Georgia, across the USA and also internationally.
Thank God that she passed peacefully and without discomfort.
