It was always a pleasure to work with you when you came to help us at the shop,  you always made me laugh. Those last few weeks with you at the shop were for sure a hoot! I will miss those times and I know Darrell will truly miss you and the talks and times spent together working on the cars.  May you rest in peace! 

Finding it hard to believe my lifelong friend, Dennis, is gone. He was more than a friend, but was a brother from another mother!  We met and became best friends in second grade (58 years ago)!  So many memories through the years…camping every weekend, flying planes with those crazy cables, riding scooters graduating to motorcycles…and we lived under the hood of a car.  Memories were made through every milestone of life.  My friend, you’ll be sadly missed!  Thanks for the cherished memories.  Until we meet again!!

Brother you were my best friend and the moment you died I felt my heart was torn in two.  One side filled with heartache, the other died with you.

Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday, but missing you is heartache that never goes away.

Who will I look to to fix my every need for you were always there no matter what I needed.

There are many types of friends. You have friends from school, friends from work, friends from your neighborhood and now you have Facebook friends (who for the most part are not actually friends at all, but someone you met on a social media site). If you are lucky you will have a truly best friend. A best friend cares about you, helps you when they can and always has your back (no matter what). I met Dennis through my cousin Terry back in the 1970’s when we were all still in high school. Terry lived in the same neighborhood in Mountain Park. Dennis became my truly best friend and even though we may have lost touch from time to time we always knew we were there for each other (all it took was a phone call). I will miss him greatly, because those type of friends are hard to find, in fact he was my only one. My faith lets me know I will see him again one day when God calls me home.

The Jameson’s were such a special part of our Stacy Lane Gang Family for  many years.  Dennis gave of himself to many in our neighborhood so willingly with his kind-hearted servant spirit.  There wasn’t anything he couldn’t figure out especially mechanically.  We are saddened for his family and certainly pray for comfort as they mourn his loss.  May God give you His Love and Peace, dearest Jameson family.  Love and prayers, David, Teresa and Lindsey Tidwell 

Dennis was a good man.  You knew where you stood with Dennis, for even though generally quiet, if asked he would tell you exactly what he thinks. Even if its not what you wanted to hear.  That reflects strength and integrity. Mechanically gifted, and friendly. I always enjoyed talking with Dennis, even if it was sometimes months between conversations. His passing fills me with sorrow. Sending thoughts of comfort and peace to his family.
