Alana Tuccillo Lehr

Alana was born in Hartford on August 18, 1983 and was a graduate of Southington High School in 2001 and the University of CT in 2005, earning B.S. in Computer Science. She was in the process of earning her M.B.A. She was a Software Engineer at Sonalyst in Waterford often working on military projects. In high school, Alana was an accomplished violinist with the Bristol Symphany Orchestra. She enjoyed sailing with her dad, Dave Mathews concerts, theater, exercising, dancing and was an avid Red Sox fan. In her youth she participated in the St. Thomas Passion Play. Alana had a love and talent for creativity and spent hours on knitting and various crafts. She will be deeply missed by her kitties Gizmo and Mace, and family dog Abby, along with her best friend Kelly Cyr of Meriden and her many loving and devoted family members and friends.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a step son Ethan Lehr of Norwich, a sister Jenna Tuccillo and niece Carley Ruth both of Southington, her paternal grandmother Norma Andersen of Norwalk, her paternal grandfather Joseph Tuccillo and his wife Gerri of FL.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Monday July 22, 2013 at Mary Our Queen Church, 248 Savage St.,Plantsville. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 3 - 7 pm. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with arrangements.
