Catherine Adamczyk

Born in Dexter, ME the daughter of Irene (Clay) Pickles of East Windsor and the late Carlton Clay. Cathy was a RN and graduated from Meriden-Wallingford School of Nursing, she had worked at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital for over 15 years. She recently retired from Monsignor Bojnowski Manor in New Britain and had previously worked at the former Ridgewood Convalescent Center in Southington. Cathy loved to do needlepoint and crewel, she will be missed by her loving cats Cricket and Toby and her dog Cody.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by a son Brian Adamczyk of Meriden, a sister-in-law Frances Dobrindt of Cromwell, a brother-in-law Walter Adamczyk and wife Barbara of AZ. She is also survived by her Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Don of ME and Uncle Jack in Washington DC also special nieces Suzanne, Wendy and Sarah, nephew Kevin and cousins Judy and Bobby.

She was predeceased by a sister Mary Jane Rajala

A Service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
