
Southington- Damian T. Romano, 54, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of CT, died on Thursday January 11, 2007 at home while under the care of his wife Rose (Canonico) Romano, and Hernando Pasco Hospice. He was born in New Haven son of Carmine and Eleanor Romano of Cheshire. He earned a Master's Degree of Science, Counseling and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology, both from Southern Connecticut State University. He also completed two years undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Quinnipiac College.
He was employment by CARES in Port Rickey, FL working as a supervisor of case managers who assisted the elderly.
He was a devote Roman Catholic and a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and AGAPE Prayer House in FL.
Besides his wife and parents he is survived by 2 sisters, Marilyn Modzelewski of N. Branford, Carolyn Buffinton of Prospect and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Church. Burial will be at St. Bridget Cemetery in Cheshire. Calling hours will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St
