She was born in Presque Isle,ME on August 6, 1947 the daughter of the late Wray and Theresa (Portwine) Boulier.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Dawn LaBrecque and her husband Dean of Bristol, and Neal Messier Jr. of Portland, OR, a brother, Robert Boulier of CA, her sisters Shirley DePaulo of Bristol and Lorraine Hooper and her husband Robert of Southington and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her grandchildren, Madeline Montgomery, Chloe LaBrecque and Boston LaBrecque, 2 step grandchildren; Brandon and Hailey LaBrecque.
She loved going to the casino with her sisters but most of all her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Darlene gave in death as she gave in life as a tissue organ donor.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 12 noon at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 10 - 12 noon.
