Elizabeth Liska

Elizabeth J. Liska, 94, of Southington, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Jerome Home in New Britain. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Liska.

She was born in Ballston Spa, NY on Oct. 23, 1926 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Slatovski) Breyo. Prior to her retirement she was the secretary at St. Aloysius Church for many years.

She is survived by her son Gary Liska and his wife Miriam of Cheshire, her daughter Noreen Brzozowski of Southington, five grandchildren; Amanda Lombardo and her husband Jerrad, Jesse Liska and his wife Jamie, Jake Liska and his wife Courtney, Alyssa Camire and her husband Steven and Neil Brzozowski and his wife Cassie. She also leaves 6 great-grandchildren Alaina and Ethan Liska, Grayson Lombardo, Bruce Brzozowski and Nathan and Brady Camire. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Thomas Randy Liska.

Elizabeth’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the staff of The Jerome Home who have touched their lives and the life of our beloved mother Liz these past 7 years.

I can still remember the visits aunt Liz made to Schenectady to see her mom. She was always so joyful and her smile and laughter stayed with me throughout life. She was so much fun to be around. My prayers to her entire family!
