Evelyn I.

Born in Van Buren, Maine, December 7, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Willie and Alice Parent.

She is survived by a daughter, Charlene Zompanti and her husband Dale of Bristol and two sons, Robert Cyr and Michael Cyr and his wife Carol, both of Southington; five grandchildren, David, Danny and Michele Cyr and Sean and Chad McCann; 3 great granddaughters, Mary Beth and Danielle Cyr and Ava McCann; four sisters, Mary Bowie, Lillian Ayotte, Aurora Cote and Lorraine Gilmore all of Maine and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Edmund, Albert and Raymond Parent We love you mom and will never forget your loving smile. The family would like to thank the Sheriden Woods staff for their love and care they gave to Evelyn.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday (TODAY) from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., CT Chapter, 279 New Britain Rd., Suite 5, Kensington, CT 06037.
