He was the husband of Judy (Clausen) Ball.
He was born Sept. 29, 1936 in Keeseville, NY to the late Blanche (Galarneau) Ball. Soon after, the family moved to Thomaston, CT where he grew up. After serving in the US Army, he worked in printing, advertising and marketing until his retirement. He was a man of faith who saw God in the beauty of nature and taught his children to "learn to look." He quietly helped those in need without recognition. He was active in the beginning days of St. Vincent dePaul in Waterbury. He also was co-chair of the St. Maria Goretti Church building fund.
In addition to his wife of 56 years, he leaves his three children, Stephen Ball and his wife Heidi of Woodbury, Karen Ball of Windsor, and David Ball of San Francisco, and his grandson Connor Ball.
Forrest’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 am at St. Maria Goretti Church in Wolcott. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. There are no calling hours.
